The plant covers a production area of more than 50,000 m\u00b2 and operates continuously 24\/7 with a workforce of thousands.<\/p>\n<h3>Challenge<\/h3>\n<p>During PCB production, soldering, cleaning, and electroplating processes generate significant volatile organic compounds (VOCs) along with acidic gases such as HCl and H2SO4.<\/p>\n<p>If not effectively treated, these pollutants can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Affect the health of workers.<\/li>\n<li>Cause unpleasant odors in the production area.<\/li>\n<li>Corrode high-precision electronic equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Increase product defect rates and equipment maintenance costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Air Filtech&#8217;s Solution<\/h3>\n<p>Air Filtech designed and implemented a Camfil molecular filtration system with two dedicated treatment stages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stage 1: <\/strong>CamCarb filter cassettes using granular activated carbon (GAC) to adsorb VOCs and organic solvents.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stage 2: <\/strong>Chemically impregnated activated carbon filters to treat acidic and corrosive gases generated during production.<\/li>\n<li>Removal efficiency for target pollutants exceeds 95%.<\/li>\n<li>The solution was designed to integrate with the existing HVAC system, allowing convenient maintenance and filter media replacement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Results<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>VOC and acidic gas concentrations in the production area are kept below permitted limits.<\/li>\n<li>Significant reduction in chemical corrosion of equipment and electronic components.<\/li>\n<li>Improved working environment quality, with reduced chemical odor in the plant.<\/li>\n<li>MeiKo continues to select Air Filtech as its partner for annual maintenance and filter media supply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MeiKo Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd.
