Customer

Ho Tram MGallery Hotel and BaBylon Resort (Vung Tau) is a premium resort complex within the Accor Hotels system, located on the Ho Tram coastline, serving both domestic and international leisure and business travelers to a 5-star service standard.

Challenge

MGallery’s restaurant and kitchen area serves more than 500 diners per day across a range of Asian and European cuisines. During food preparation, large volumes of cooking smoke, grease vapor, and food odors are generated continuously, affecting the guest-facing areas.

The key issues included:

  • Smoke and odor from the kitchen spreading into the dining room and lobby.
  • Ultra-fine grease particles accumulating in the exhaust hood system and ventilation ducts.
  • Impact on guest experience and the hotel’s 5-star air quality standard.
  • The existing ventilation system was insufficient to effectively control kitchen smoke and odor.

Air Filtech’s Solution

Air Filtech supplied and installed a KleanLand ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) system for the hotel’s kitchen and restaurant area.

The solution includes:

  • Electrostatic precipitation technology using a high-voltage electric field of 8–10 kV to ionize and capture grease particles and fine smoke particles ranging from 0.01–1 µm.
  • Grease removal efficiency exceeds 95%.
  • A washable filter design that does not require periodic filter media replacement, reducing long-term operating costs.
  • Quiet operation, suitable for premium hotel and restaurant environments requiring low noise levels.

Results

  • Air quality in the MGallery dining room and lobby improved markedly, fully containing the spread of kitchen smoke and odor.
  • Enhanced guest experience regarding air quality in the restaurant area.
  • Reduced long-term operating costs thanks to washable, reusable electrostatic filtration technology.
  • The system operates stably, meeting the air quality requirements of a premium resort hotel model.
